A couple of weeks ago we put up a poll on the blog (and on Facebook) to see what kind of content our readers have enjoyed on the blog, and what they would like to see more of. Thanks very much to everyone who voted on the blog and on Facebook. We thought going through the results would be a useful process to feed into and influence the kind of content coming up on the blog, and to leave the door firmly ajar for more crowdsourcing of blog topics open.
The results show an interest in previous posts focusing on technology developments (we've featured posts on the iPad) and website design, so we will definitely carry on with these subjects for this year, including:
- updates on tablet technology
- mobile website design
- user experience and usability
- Inspirational website design
The results also show a strong interest in featuring more posts focussing on Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and 'How to' posts. In the coming weeks we will be looking at these areas, including:
- the rise of Google+
- the impact of the increasing personalization of Google Search on SEO
- How to put together a social media marketing campaign
- How to develop your presence on Twitter (including finding a brand 'voice')
Over to You
What subjects would you like covered? Let us know in the comments below. Do you have a blog that focuses on any of these topics? If so, put a link to it in the comments below and we might feature you here.
